Jenna McDonald is a renowned educator, facilitator, and thought leader at the intersection of yoga, breathwork, and transformative leadership. With over 20 years of practice and facilitation, she has trained hundreds of teachers and practitioners through Yoga Teacher Trainings, private mentorships, and group programs.
As a 500-Hour E-RYT and Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance, Jenna has been guiding teacher trainings for more than a decade, blending rigorous study with embodied wisdom.
She is the creator of Breath Intimacy, a groundbreaking training designed for coaches, therapists, and facilitators to explore the science, art, and relational depth of breathwork.
She also developed S:he โ Journey into the Garden of Self, a program dedicated to restoring dignity, embodiment, and sovereignty for women healing from patriarchal oppression. Jennaโs academic work bridges indigenous systems of knowledge and contemporary leadership.
She holds a BA in Native Systems of Education and Decolonization and an MA in Transformative Leadership, with her graduate research centering on Matricentric-Liberation Philosophies.
She is currently completing her PhD at CIIS, focusing on Animate Breath and Co-Regulation as Repair for Meta-Crisis Times.
In addition to her academic and professional expertise, Jenna is a Certified Doula, bringing compassion and presence to the threshold experiences of life.
As a lecturer and educator, she shares her wisdom internationally in trainings, retreats, and academic settings, always committed to integrating the personal, relational, and collective dimensions of healing.
